I accepted it was the end, in a lucid moment I went completely calm and thought ' Oh well, I am 21 years of age and havn't had a bad life!' The propeller hit my diving bottle, 3' from my head and I was thrown clear.

My biggest shock was that I was still alive. The people in the boat to this day do not know that I nearly died of shock, the trauma lasted about a year and I couldn't talk about it and they still do not know! However these did not result in great after- shock or the same out of life experience or continued trauma. Com orwhatsapp +(234) I'M a testimony believe it of not. I HAVE DONE MY PART BY PASSING OUT THIS INFO To people outside having love issues and marital problems. 2 years ago my wife and I (now herself gone Aug 2018) flew down to my Mom in Florida at the behest of Dr. Saying she was not long for this earth. She was 93 and we had known again was catching up each year but she always seemed to get through the years.

Though prior to the call she had been sleeping alot more but from long distance she would just say she was tired and we would think 'what 93 year old would not be'? Well we got down and she was in a coma and the staff said it was 'waiting time'.

We were there that day with no hope and just waiting- we went home and came back the next morning shocked at what we heard and saw. My Mom who had been in a coma was sitting up and chatting with nurses- we were shocked- this was not to happen. But she knew who we were and were there and we got 3 hours with her. Then she slowly went back to sleep and never woke again,it took 2 more days till she passed. But she was up for that time as if knowing we were there- unfinished business?

Well most likely as she pretty much was asking me if I knew this and that and what to do and who to contact. It was like she was testing me as we had spoken before many times of what I was to do. When I must have passed the test or the hurrah was over she slowly started to fade again. We knew then time was coming. Yes indeed this was the last hurrah- because she was very lucid and carried on normal conversation-slowly and needing ice chips-water-lip balm - but the words would come out. When we left that night she had been calling out my Dads name-he passed away in 1978 and was making motions like seeing someone and trying to grab at the air. But we were there-we experienced it.

My grandmother's last word to my mom was her yelling 'STOP!' Because my mom was trying to sing a lullaby off key, while grammy was 94 and just wanted to die quietly. My dad's last words were 'good God, woman, will you shut up?' To my mom, because he was trying to watch the game at the hospital to keep his mind off things, and my mom kept asking him about how to pay the electric bill and what to do about the neighbor's turkeys that kept coming up on our porch and pooping everywhere. She stomped out in a huff, and he had a fatal heart attack while she was in the elevator going down to the parking lot. From then on, nobody yelled at my mom. I could understand both situations and where they were coming from. They tell you to 'keep talking they can hear you' and you have to wonder unless you get feedback like this - it its really wanted? Perhaps the person is just wanting to be alone.

I know I will make that known for myself. I would much prefer to go alone and in the quiet.

Would that not be right? Look at our animals-when they know its their time they seek out a place to not be seen if at all possible. We had a sick cat that was just trying to get out the door and get away.

Hannah honey was a peachy kind of girlHer eyes were hazelAnd her nose were slightly curvedWe spent a lonely night at the Memory MotelIt's on the ocean, I guess you know it wellIt took a starry night to steal my breath awayDown on the water frontHer hair all drenched in sprayHannah baby was a honey of a girlHer eyes were hazelAnd her teeth were slightly curvedShe took my guitar and she began to playShe sing a song to meStuck right in my brainYou're just a memoryOf a love that used to be. Painted memories lyrics.

Again who really knows what in all of this? Its just sad that we come here to discuss because we have experienced it. Unfortunately in my case it was my Mom 2 years ago and my wife only days away from 3 months ago. If not for her I would not be here now. I am a care aide who has worked on the front lines in long term care centers, I have seen this many times with people with cancer or other terminal illnesses, I saw this with my own family members who passed from cancer. I am curious about the dementia patients, I have never witnessed this myself perhaps because dementia is more of a long drawn out end and from time to time they do experience a clear mind but never have I been conscious enough to see if it was connected to their demise, but I am curious about the results of this study and wouldn't mind some sort of update on the results.
