It was a solid metroidvania with good mechanics and stand-out art and animation quality. It is set in the same world as Teslagrad. This is several decades after the events of Teslagrad, and one of the Playable Characters in this game is also a Teslamancer like the kid in Teslagrad. Theres one or two returning characters and the game starts outside the Tesla Tower.The Teslamancer playable character has more or less the same moveset as the one from the previous game, but this is top-down so it is slightly different.

The gameplay is different from Teslagrad, World to the West is a top-down story-driven action adventure, you will be fighting, exploring and puzzle solving differently based on which of the main characters you are controlling at any given point.
